*NEW* Guardian Families We believe every dog deserves a loving forever family they can call their own. We are not a kennel breeder as dogs raised in kennels do not get the socialization and stimulation that is needed to be a well balanced happy dog. Because we believe that a family life is of utmost importance, our Guardian Homes have become an important part of our program and it benefits everyone involved, the dog, the breeder and the forever family. Our Guardian Families get to enjoy the excitement of being part of our breeding program and seeing the offspring of their very own Guardian dog being placed with families across the country so that they too can experience the same joy that this wonderful bloodline has offered their family. Our Guardian Home Program allows for local families to have breeders “Pick of the Litter” puppy, or top notch young adolescent breeding dog. These pups live with you as your very own family dog while we retain breeding rights for the dog. Most dogs retire by four-five years of age having a few litters. Once the Guardian Dog has completed her breeding career, she will be spayed; then, the contract is signed over for full ownership to the Guardian family and will remain a forever pet of their Guardian Family! In summary: We like to place our upcoming breeding pups in forever homes with suitable families as their dog and we retain breeding rights = GUARDIAN PROGRAM. (We pay all breeding related testing expenses.) So the dog stays with you as your family dog while we retain breeding rights for the dog. Benefits: The Guardian Home Program has many benefits for the guardian family, the breeder, and the dog. · Guardian Families have “pick of the Litter” top breed quality, selected by the breeder · Any extensive health testing will be paid for by the breeder · There is no need for the breeder to kennel the dogs · The dogs are well socialized and in a good family environment · The dog does not need to be re-homed as an adult upon retirement · Guardian families can schedule trips during whelpings without paying for outside pet care · Superior Bloodlines - for very little expense How to qualify as a Guardian Home: In order to ensure safety and health there are certain requirements to qualify for our Guardian Home Program. · Own Home · Fully fenced yard · Ensure the puppy is well socialized · Provide veterinary care when needed · Must be willing to feed diet approved by Breeder The most important requirement is that you love this bundle of joy as a cherished member of your family! If you live within one hour of the Kelso/Longview, WA area and the Guardian Home Program interests you, please feel free to contact us. |
